The Inconsiderate Aberrations of Billy the Kid

In December 2008 I worked as costume advisor to the 2headedpigeon Theatre Company in the run up to their premier of The Inconsiderate Aberrations of Billy the Kid. As costume advisor I helped the company consolidate the costumes they had already acquired, making adjustments where necessary and acting as maker for the costume elements which they had been unable to produce themselves. The show has gone on to be a huge success including playing Edinburgh Fringe in 2009 and in 2010 where they received the Three Weeks Editors Award.

"The Inconsiderate Aberrations of Billy the Kid is an anarchic farce musical, performed alongside a live rock band. Featuring a homicidal 10 year old, a singing abortion and a host of feminist angels, this outrageous comedy will be returning to the fringe this summer.

Featured in the Guardian and NY Times at the festival in 2009, reviews described it as being “hilarious satire where ‘Family Guy’ meets ‘Shaun of the Dead’ meets Woody Allen”, and “a great parody of ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’, with shades of ‘The Comic Strip Presents’.” "
