Squeaky Door Production Company presents a preview of The Tempest by William Shakespeare on Saturday 23rd of July, at Godalming Borough Hall. The costumes for this show were designed and made by Louise Wilson and myself. Set in 1860 this vibrant retelling is full of magic, laughter, drama and intrigue. If you can not make this preview evening The Tempest will also be traveling to Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it will run at The Space on Niddry St from the 8th to the 13th of August.

“The Tempest is one of the most original and perfect of Shakespeare’s Productions, and he has shown in it all the variety of his powers. It is full of grace and grandeur. The human and imaginary characters, the dramatic and the grotesque, are blended together with the greatest art, and without any appearance of it.” - William Hazlitt, 1955
